【 Main purpose 】
It is mainly used for the production of nitric acid, urea and other chemical fertilizers, and can also be used as raw materials for medicine and pesticides. In the defense industry, it is used to make propellants for rockets and missiles. It can be used as ammoniating raw material for organic chemical products.
【 Packaging and Storage 】
Liquid ammonia is a class 2.3 toxic gas, which is filled by cylinder or tank truck. The filling cylinder or tank truck shall comply with the relevant provisions of the "Gas cylinder safety Supervision regulations" and "Fixed pressure vessel safety Technical supervision Regulations" issued by the State Labor Bureau. The allowable weight filling factor is 0.52kg/L. Cylinders and tankers for transporting liquid ammonia must comply with the "Rules for the Transport of Dangerous Goods" formulated by the Ministry of Communications of the People's Republic of China. During transportation, heat should be avoided and fireworks strictly prohibited. The cylinder must have a safety cap, and the bottle must be wrapped with a rubber ring or grass rope to prevent violent impact and vibration. Liquid ammonia cylinders should be stored in a warehouse or covered platform. When stacking in the open air, tents should be covered to prevent direct sunlight. It is mainly transported by rail and road.
